Spice Village: Set in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala, the village lies just outside Periyar Tiger Reserve. The resort provides luxurious accommodation and mouth-watering cuisine. Recreating the mood of the local tribal community, the individual cottages have designed amongst a landscape spice garden. Each dwelling is thatched with elephant grass and offers simple luxury and privacy. The rooms are spacious and furnished with simple sophistication: terracotta tiled floors, wooden beds and chairs, and whitewashed walls. A verandah runs round the entire cottage, and each dwelling is set in its own land. At the centre of the village is a swimming pool, surrounded by tropical trees and lawns.

Taj Garden Retreat : Formerly a 3 ½ acre coffee plantation, the Taj Garden Retreat stands with 32 elegantly furnished rooms with all modern amenities, the elephant hay thatched roofs and the night sounds of the jungle will serve as constant reminders even as you walk to the multi-cuisine restaurants. Each cottage has its own private sit-out from where on a lucky evening or early morning morn you get to see Wild Fowls, Flying squirrels just a few feet away.
